Hat jemand erfahrung über Installation :
Vantage Firmware auf ein NanoXX 9500 HD S.
Es geht um kleine Schrift die im Vantage soft aber viel besser lesbar ist.:cool:
Funktioniert musst jedoch das erste mal mit dem Seriellen Kabel flashen. Anleitung findest hier im Forum unter der Vantage HD7100.
Also, wenn die Vantage Software auf dem Nanoxx funktioniert, was ist dann die besser Box ?
Ich bin da noch Newbie und habe eigentlich mit der Nanoxx abgeschlossen, da es keinen Support gab, bis ich das hier las.
Ich Suche gearde nämlich einen HDTV Kabelreceiver und wollte den Vantage 7100 C eigentlich kaufen, aber wenn die Vantage SW auf der Nanoxx läuft da stellt sich mir die FArge was die besser Box ist.
KAnn mir mal ein Profi die Unterschiede bzw. Vor- und Nachteile erklären ?
Die 2 Boxen sind baugleich. Nanoxx hat nur ein eigenes Menü und nicht alle updates werden für die Nanoxx verwirklicht, das heisst es kommen nicht alle Updates die ach auf Vantage kommen.
Wenn du das erste mal deine Box auf die Vantagesoftware umgeflasht hast kannst du deine Box immer mit der Vantage updaten.
Also dann macht es keinen Unterschied welche Box von beiden ich mir hole.
Die Vantage ist aber vom Support besser, z.Zt. auch günstiger und von der Optik ansprechender.
Ich denke Du hast schon Nanoxx ? Sonst natürlich die Vantage !

Also habe jetzt aus NanoXX 9500 HD ein Vantage gemacht und würde sagen es ging ganz einfach und vorallem mit USB spielend leicht. Die Vantage GUI finde ich besser als NannoXX. Ich habe auch VANTAGE Support einige Fragen(natürlich als potenzielle Kunde) geschickt und Antwort bekommen und schwöre nun auf INKOMPETENZ von VANTAGE Mitarbeitern.:eek:

Na ENDLICH merke ich Unterschied:
Vantagesoft auf NanoXX macht das SD und HD Bild richtig geil.

Geht das Flashen auch ohne com? Vom USB Stick kommt die Fehlermeldung "Beschädigt oder nicht für dieses Gerät bestimmt".:(

das geht grundsätzlich auch mit einem USB-Stick, aber ab einer bestimmten Firmwareversion hat Vantage den Wechsel
von Vantage zu Nanoxx unterbunden, d.h. Du musst erst auf eine alte Vantage-Firmware (ich weiss aber nicht mehr genau
welche. Ich glaube es war die 020600 ??) zurückgehen und dann kannst Du die NanoXX-Firmware aufspielen.

Geht es denn auch wieder zurück auf die NanoXX-Firmware? Denn da tut sich ja auch einiges. Müsste ja eigentlich, oder?

Also da geht nix. Immer wieder die Meldung "Falsches Modell oder beschädigte Datei". Hab die NanoXX 20200 genommen ne ältere habe ich nicht gefunden. Und bei der Vantage 011201 kam ebenfalls die Fehermeldung.:mad:
Geht leider nicht .Die Firmenware wurde so gändert und zwar nur im oberen Teil damit der Nanoxx das nicht einspielt. Müsste irgendwie abgeändert werden Können, mit Hexeditor.Vantage Menue ist besser. ??????

-Natürlich geht es mit einem oder anderen Tricks.
-Vantage Menu ist 1000 mal besser als NanoXX Menu und ist etwas Professional.
- Man kann alles wieder rückgängig machen.
Wegen Zeitmangel kann ich erst nach 20 November eine Anleitung dafür schreiben.

Es muß das zweite Byte geändert werden .
Erst mal eine ältere Soft einspielen von dem Gerät was ihr gerade bestizt.
Dann muß mit einem Hexeditor die Soft angepasst werden .
Zum Beispiel Nanoxx zu Vantage:
Vantagesoft steht in der ersten Zeile im Hexeditor 01 01 01 03 .......
abändern in 01 02 01 03 ..........
anschliesend abspeichern und auf Festplatte oder USB-Stick spielen.
Ich habe dazu auch eine alte Soft genommen.
Wenn die dann einmal drauf ist kann man auch eine neue Soft von Vantage ohne Abänderung einspielen und sogar die gespeicherte Kanalliste von der Nanoxxsoft einspielen.
Macht man Vantage zu Nanoxx muß man halt von der Nanoxsoft wieder die erste Zeile ändern in 01 01 01 03 ....
Aber erst muß man eine alte Vantagesoft einspielen weil es mit den letzteren nicht mehr funzt.

:) siehste ! genau dass habe ich auch erreicht.
Aller erstens mit Versionen 112 für Vanti und Nano klappt es am besten und dann kann man(n) es zu aktuellen Version von Vanti upgraden ...einfach TOOOLLL:D
Es gibt zwei Software einmal nanoxx zu Vantage und Vantage zu Nanoxx im DW Bereich
Die muss mann über Nullmodemkabel flahen.

I have a NanoXX 9500 HD-C but i thought that it don`t make a difference if it is satellite or cable cause the firmware is the same and thats why i ask it in this thread.
I have try`t all described to get the vantage firmware on my NanoXX 9500 HD-C but everytime i get the same message about damaged file.
I have try`t older firmware and also others but none works for me and still getting the same message.
I hope someone can upload the vantage firmware that works on my Nanoxx, or maybe have some other ideas to get this to work.
I hope someone can help me with this one.

Ich lasse Versuch `t ganz beschreiben, um den günstigen Mikroprogrammaufstellung auf meinem NanoXX 9500 HD-C zu erhalten aber, jedes Mal wenn ich die gleiche Mitteilung über schädigende Akte erhalte. Ich habe Versuch `t ältere Mikroprogrammaufstellung und auch andere, aber keiner arbeitet für mich und die gleiche Mitteilung noch, erhalten. Ich hoffe, dass jemand die günstige Mikroprogrammaufstellung laden kann, die an meinem Nanoxx arbeitet, oder möglicherweise einige andere Ideen hat, dieses zu erhalten, um zu arbeiten. Ich hoffe, dass jemand mir mit diesem helfen kann. Dank im Voraus.

Well ! hier are the doITyourself details ( at your own risk )
1. Download from somewhare NanoXX HD Firmware version 011201 unrar or unzip and install it
2. Now in Internet search for Vantage Firmware Version 011201 , download and unrar or unzip it but do NOT try to install yet.
3. Open this Vantage Firmware with any HEX EDITOR and you will find the starting header like: 01 01 01 03 03 00 03
change it to : 01 02 01 01 03 00 03 and save it.
4. Now install this changed Vantage Firmware.
5. Now you can upgrade to Vantage latest Firmware and Enjoy.
You will notice that the Picture quality is almost 200 % better and the GUI is more professional.The Vantage Player runns more smoothly and you will get firmware upgrades almost every 2nd week with new functions.
To avoide any errors install only as described.

Updated to the latest firmware from Vantage and all my problems solved.
When i ever want back to Nanoxx firmware ( not much chance ) can i reverse with the same methode ?

Well i have saved the old firmware that did the job on a save place just in case.
Also good to know that i always can reverse the firmware in case the box must go to manufacture for a repair for example.

My apologies for making a first post here but as you might guess I cant speak German....my friends NanoXX 9500HD just says "booting" whenever its switched on. Does anyone PLEASE know of a factory reset fot this STB.

IT HAS NOTHING and ABSOLOUTLY NOTHING TO DO WITH VANTAGE FIRMWARE ON NANOXX 9500 HD. YOU HAVE TO RESET YOUR HARDWARE THROUGH SERIAL PORT.
